Liz and Paul
Were married at their home under a big oak tree in the Palo Alto
Hills on Saturday, September 6th, 2004. Many of the guests were
close friends already. The Bride's father and the Groom's mother
predeceased their wedding, however they wanted to acknowledge their
presence with a candle lighting. Kevin graciously brought them and
the guests through the very tender moment and up to some very silly
stories about their travels together around the world. He also
facilitated Liz and Paul's personal promises to each other. All in
all Kevin managed to maneuver through various emotions between the
bride and groom, himself and the audience.♥
Monique and J.J.
Were
married at the Pasadena Golf & Tennis Club on the lawn on Saturday,
June 28th, 2004. There were nearly 150 people in attendance and it
was hot at 5:00 pm. The only people Kevin knew were the couple and
his girlfriend. Needless to say he took the crowd up and down from
a funny story about J.J. to a lovely moment that J.J. and Monique
had shared and now shared with the attendees. Despite Kevin's
unfamiliarity with the guests, he instantly made new friends and
established a precedent with how other couples wanted their own
wedding ceremonies to go.♥
Serena and Leland
Were
married in Leland's off-Embarcadero Condo complex's courtyard on
Saturday, June 7th, 2004. All of their closest friends and
family were there. They had already made arrangements to have
their formal ceremony in Taiwan. This ceremony was for their
American-based friends. The ceremony itself lasted about 20
minutes with a story of how they met, how Leland convinced Serena to
marry him, how Serena blew off her suitors to be with Leland.
The audience laughed and the audience cried. But most of all
the audience felt closer to the couple and was charged with the
couple success in their marriage.♥
